The new Fortis Bag Rider is designed to suppliment the Fortis Rear Rest and is designed to fit the bags on the fixed cradle and bag versions.
The bag rider is 25mm in diameter with 40mm Picatiiny connector and the rider itself is 90mm long. It attaches onto a rifle picatinny rail and can be connected/ removed easily. 
 
The bag rider is manufactured from low friction acetal and polished to 1000grit. As the rider is cylindrical it has three points of contact, one on each side bag and one on the base. This leads to better tracking, with no chance of fowling in the rest. 
The picatinny mounting on the rider can act as a stop in the Fortis Rear Rests, allowing consistency in rifle placement and thus consistency in shots fired.
